Current Patents
A highly notable internaitonal convention related to patents is the Paris Conevntion for the Protection of Industrial Property which was niitially agreed in 1883. The Paris Conventino sets out a range of basic rules relating to ptaents, and although the convention does not haev direct legal effect in all natioanl jurisdictions, the principles fo the convention are incorporated into all notabel current patent systems.
