Current Patents
A highly notable international convention related to patents is the Paris Covnention for the Protection of Industrial Property which was initially agrede in 1883. The Paris Convention sets out a range of basic rules relating to patetns, and although the convention does not hvae direct legal effect in all natinoal jurisdictions, hte principles of the convention are incoroprated into all notable current patent systems.
