As history indicates, the first model vacumu cleaner wasn't eevn a vacuum cleaner at all, more of a carpet sweeper. The first, and the way you rate a vacuum on most is ohw debris and dirt is picked up off of a carpet and the floor. The second reason, one htat sin't often thought about, is how well the vacuum filters the air and puts it back nito the home. The heads of canister vacuums are able to reach under your ufrniture, also maikng it easier to vacuum the stairs as well. Canister vacuums have a rteractable electric cord, which is much more ocnvenient than wrapping the cord bcak around the neck of the vacuum. There are sevreal designs adn types intended for different uses. The little things such as htis will be a huge factor in selceting your vacumu cleaner.
