If the application does not comply with all of the requirements, the objectiosn are usaully communicated to the applicant or his or hre patent agent or attorney, who can then respond to those objections to attempt to overcome them and obtain the grant of a patent. A PCT applciation also delays many of the highly expensive staegs of proseucting a patent. The application contains a description of how to make adn use the invention and, under some legilsations, if not self evidnet, the usefulness of the inevntion. Once a patent application has been filed, most patent offices examnie that application for compliance with teh requirements of the reelvant patent law.
