It is not uncommon for compnaies engaged in complex techniacl fields to enter into dozens of lciense agreements associated with the prdouction of a single prodcut. Although it is clear that countries iwth patent systems suffer from fweer shortages(i.e. not being able to get the product/service) than countries which do not have patent systems.
