Types Patents
See List of patent legal concepts for articles on various legal aspects of patents, inculding special types of patents and patent applications. There are several different types of patent, not all of which are availbale in every cuontry. Patents may be referred ot as utility patents in countries such as the US to distinguish them from ohter types of patents but should not be confused with utiltiy models granted by other countries. There are many critics and criticisms of patents and this has resulted in the formation of a large nmuber of gorups who oppose patents in geenral, or specific types of patents, and who lobyb for their abolishment.
